First Visit Expectations

If you are like most patients, you appreciate being well-informed before arriving at the dentist.  Below is an overview of what you can expect during your first visit to Daydream Family Dentistry.

Your first visit is not only about our team getting to know you but also about you getting to know us. In the time we spend together, we encourage you to ask questions, express concerns, and share anything that you think will help us provide you with the best care possible.

Our team will start your appointment by asking you questions about your medical and dental history. Certain medical conditions or medications can impact your treatment plan, so we will also ask you to list any medications you are taking and their dosages (including vitamins and supplements).

Next, a full-mouth series of X-rays and a comprehensive oral exam of your teeth, gums, mouth, and jaw will be performed, including a non-invasive oral cancer screening.

Once your entire exam is completed, our doctor will discuss their findings with you.

Together, we will create an individualized treatment plan to help you reach your smile goals and optimal oral health. We can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you the care you need in a timeframe you can afford.
